Denmark Implement CA-EBS for Offshore Helicopter Travel

Danes set to join ranks with the UK in implementing the use of Category A Emergency Breathing System (CA-EBS).

As of the 1st October 2018 the use of the CA-EBS compressed air rebreather will be mandatory for helicopter travel to and from offshore installations in Danish waters.

This legislation dictates that anyone who is required to work in Danish waters must poccess the following certification:

BOSIET / FOET with EBS (OPITO ref: 5700 / 5858) AND additional CA-EBS Training (OPITO ref: 5902)

Or

BOSIET / FOET with CA-EBS (OPITO ref: 5750 / 5850)

Survivex are also pleased to offer a 'Combined BOSIET' or 'Combined FOET' with EBS & CA-EBS, which covers both bases and allows for travel over UK, Danish & International waters.
