A new Asbestos Non-Licensed training course is now available to book at Survivex.
Asbestos causes more than five thousand deaths every year according to the Health and Safety Executive – now Survivex has developed a training course to give anyone likely to disturb materials containing asbestos at work the know-how of what to do.
The new one day in-house Asbestos Non-Licensed course covers everything from asbestos awareness training to how to deal with waste, cleaning and decontamination processes. Developed by industry experts, the course adheres to the very highest asbestos safety standards.
Operations Manager at Survivex, Craig Wilson said: “Despite legislation to ban asbestos more than 20 years ago, its deadly legacy remains and many public, private and commercial premises across the UK and North Sea assets are still contaminated. Survivex has developed this important course, which includes both theoretical and practical skills, to ensure people working with asbestos containing materials stay safe.”
