AIS Survivex takes medical service in-house at Newcastle site to increase capacity
Leading energy training provider, AIS Survivex is taking medical services in-house at its Newcastle site after employing a full-time team of medical professionals to increase the number of medical appointments on offer.
The new team includes a new onsite Doctor, nurse and administrator, who will deliver a range of occupational health services for industries such as oil and gas, wind and construction. Medical certification is mandatory to demonstrate fitness to work in industries such as the offshore sector or driving heavy goods vehicles where safety is critical.
As well as medical certification such as Oil and Gas UK (OGUK) Offshore medicals, RUK Wind Turbine medicals, Fit to Train assessments and HGV medicals, the services on offer at the new in-house centre include drug and alcohol testing and food handling assessments.
AIS Survivex already has an outstanding track record in this arena, having successfully run an in-house Medical Centre at its Aberdeen training centre since 2016. Adding additional location and more medical personnel brings greater choice and more capacity for clients and anyone in need of medical certification.
