Caleb Comstock from Rhode Island is a wind technician for GEV Wind Power in the USA.
Previously an outdoor adventure guide in Utah, 26-year-old Caleb transferred careers to the global wind industry after training at AIS Training’s Renewable Energy Training Centre of Excellence in North Tyneside.
He said: “I love working in the global wind industry. It’s surpassed all my expectations! I’m so grateful to GEV and managing director, Daniel Boon for giving me this amazing opportunity. The courses at AIS Training were top-notch and really prepared me for working the field. Unlike other training I’ve done in the past, the instructors at AIS Training really held my attention and made the course content interesting and engaging. Every small detail was covered so you really understand health and safety practises and their importance to the role you’ll be doing.”
