To maintain the high safety standards that exist in the UK offshore industry, OPITO requires that candidates renew their basic emergency response training every 4 years.
Delegates who have successfully completed their BOSIET / FOET are required to undertake a 1 day FOET refresher course. This training provides delegates with the opportunity to practise and demonstrate their emergency response skills.
Benefits of Refreshing
Should your current certification lapse prior to renewing training, you will be required to return for the full 3 day BOSIET before you can once again travel offshore. Attending a FOET course before the expiry date as shown on your certificate ensures your continuous eligibility for offshore travel whilst promising the most timely and cost effective route to refreshing your training.
