Survivex are excited to announce that Friends of the Special Nursery has been selected as their Charity of the Year for 2018.
Survivex, which provides health & safety training to the global Oil & Gas industry, has committed all of its annual fundraising efforts to assist the charity in a bid to raise vital funds to help support families who require the use of the neonatal unit of Aberdeen’s Maternity Hospital.
Chris Hardie, Finance Director at Survivex said:
“We are delighted to be in a position to support Friends of the Special Nursery throughout 2018. Survivex is a local company with strong roots in the city and we feel it is important to give something back. We are keen to encourage our staff and the delegates attending our training centre to support such a worthwhile cause, with a number of fundraising events planned throughout 2018.
Members of the Survivex team have experienced first-hand the fantastic work and support the charity provides and we are very pleased to be supporting such a great cause”.
The Friends of the Special Nursery committee is made up of parents and nursing staff that want to give something back to the neonatal unit by supporting the professionals who provide such a high standard of care.
All monies donated to Friends of the Special Nursery is used to benefit the neonate and their families ensuring that their stay in the unit – no matter how long or short – is as comfortable as possible.
