2023 in-demand skills – recruiters outline opportunities for year ahead

 
 

From offshore construction trades to blade repair, inspection, NDT and roustabout roles – recruiters are looking to fill a wide variety of positions across a range of sectors at our upcoming Careers Events in Aberdeen and Newcastle.

We’ve been talking to some of the companies coming along to give you a sneak peak of the potential jobs on offer.

Wood is confirmed for our Aberdeen event and is one of the world’s leading consulting and engineering companies operating across the energy and materials markets.

 

Shaun Smith, Resourcing Lead at Wood said:

For those looking to get into the offshore oil and gas sector for the first time. Atlas Professionals Greenhand Programme could be a good bet and Global E&C is gearing up for a busy shutdown season. Both companies will be at our Aberdeen event...

 “AIS Survivex’s Careers Events are always packed out so we are delighted to attend this year’s event in Aberdeen.

“We’ve got lots of upcoming projects and are hoping to attract new talent - both experienced and inexperienced. As well as our ongoing recruitment contracts, we have at least four rigs coming into work in the North Sea and will be looking for crews to support these.

“The main roles on offer include work for Roustabouts, Greenhands, Floorhands and technical jobs such as Mechanic and Electrician but there are lots of other positions too.
