We are expanding our team and are currently recruiting a Simulator Technician/ Assistant MEM Instructor. In this role you will support and assist with the delivery of major emergency management training.
Responsibilities
Duties are including but not limited to:
- Instruct CRO/SSP courses as directed by MEM Team Leader
- Instruct candidates/delegates on the operation and use of an offshore/onshore generic simulation model used within Oil and Gas and Renewable Energy Industries
- Explain and demonstrate the simulator system to nominated MEM personnel
- Identify the need for improvement of simulator hardware and software systems, taking responsibility for the design, installation and maintenance of any systems as required
- Identify and rectify faults to maintain efficiency of static and mobile simulators through knowledge and expertise of specialist computer hardware and equipment
- Assist in development of simulations
- Update course materials and computer equipment, highlighting any deficiencies to the MEM Team Leader
- To collate, review and analyse individual platform documentation to assist in preparing course
- Act as role player as assigned by the MEM Team Leader
- Be responsible for the maintenance and security of storage areas for course materials and simulator equipment

- Sufficient underpinning knowledge of the departments software to assist in the delivery of MEM courses
- Good understanding of the UKCS Oil and Gas Sector is desirable
