Our Offshore 'Helideck Package' forms part of the mandatory training requirements for Offshore Drilling & Service personnel with Emergency Response duties.
In response to industry feedback, this package has been created to reduce the time and cost required to obtain both HOIT and HERTM certification.
Last year OPITO changed their Helideck Training Standards, eliminating the requirement to undergo separate HDA and HLO training in favour of a single Helideck Operations Initial Training (HOIT) course.
These changes mean that HOIT, along with the half-day Dangerous Goods By Air, are now mandatory prerequisites for undergoing OPITO Helideck Emergency Response Team Member (HERTM) – all of which are included in this unbeatable value package!
WHO IS THIS PACKAGE FOR?
The Helideck Package is geared towards those already working within O&G who are/or wish to progress into roles which are regularly required to take on Helideck Operations & Emergency Response duties.
New entrants, or ‘greenhand’ delegates may also book this package however you will need to hold the minimum Offshore base certificates prior to undergoing the training (see our Offshore Survival Package).
