HSE update for acceptance of Marine Medicals for Offshore Survival Training.
Survivex are now able to accept ENG1 & MCA (Maritime Coastguard Authority) Medicals as prerequisites for Basic Offshore Safety Induction and Emergency Training (BOSIET) and Further Offshore Emergency Training (FOET) courses.
A Fit To Train (FTT) Assessment will still be required along-side Marine Medicals (in the same way this is required with the OGUK Medical) in order to meet all prerequisites for any training involving in-water CA-EBS exercises.
